L’industrie de la presse connait une évolution qui touche au coeur de son activité. Les contenus (les matières premières) sont plus nombreux, disséminés, redondants et de ce fait les médias s’attachent moins à créer, mais plus à éditer, valider, monter, relayer, diffuser, animer… créer des services !
Le métier de la presse est redéfinit par les nouvelles technologies et les nouvelles relations avec les lecteurs, les auditeurs, les spectateurs. Le nouveau journaliste agit comme un filtre un “packageur” d’informations produites par des sources multiples et hétérogènes (d’autres média, des agences, des experts, des témoins, des amateurs…).
L’information n’est plus un produit, c’est devenu un processus, ce n’est plus un objet, c’est un service et les médias deviennent des facilitateurs. (Cela ne veut pas dire que le reportage ou l’investigation sont morts, cela veut simplement dire que cette activité, extrêmement coûteuse, ne peut plus être leur seule activité. Le contenu exclusif est un produit d’appel, un produit « pour la notoriété », un objet rare mais qui a vocation à être largement distribué pour attirer vers les activités de service.)
Cette nouvelle approche (l’agrégation éditorialisée, le journalisme de liens, les média de réseaux - les médias qui agrègent et qui pensent distribué-) change la donne. Elle permet de répondre à un besoin grandissant de filtrage de hiérarchisation et de simplification de l’information. Elle répond à une contrainte croissante de coût. Elle offre une réelle chance de tisser des relations fortes avec l’audience. Et cette dernière y trouve une information riche mais simplifiée, complète et ciblée, plus proche de ses attentes.
Si les média sont plus ouverts, plus transparents, et s’ils impliquent le monde extérieur (le public, les experts, les témoins, les autres média) au coeur de leurs activités, ils perdent leur statut de “mythe” mais gagnent en crédibilité.

Le journaliste, un DJ? Je ne sais pas si tel est le cas, ou si l'on doit plutôt parler de "forçats" ;-) Notion très à la mode ces derniers temps. Ou pour prendre des allégories sectorielles, de : digérant mutant, assembleur athlétique, acrobate des données, etc.
Il est un fait qu'en terme d'évolution des outils de production, on est bien dans une phase de polyvalence, souplesse, multimédia poussés à l'extrême (et ce n'est que le début).
Pour ma part, je quitte volontairement le champs du "lien html" stricto sensu, pour recibler le sens premier du mot : le lien concret et humain.
